Applicant brought vodka onto work premises and clearly displayed it which caused reputational damage to business. Actions constituted serious misconduct. Dismissal substantively justified. Suspension procedurally flawed. Applicant unjustifiably disadvantaged by suspension. Respondent reached preliminary decision before hearing from applicant. Failure to provide applicant with information before making decision. No safety reasons justifying withholding witness statements from applicant. Procedural unfairness. Dismissal unjustified.
