Abstract AUTHORITY FOUND -;UNJUSTIFIED DISMISSAL: Respondent did not properly consult applicant over. Respondent provided applicant with misleading information about change of employer when only trading name changed. No justified basis for unilateral termination of all employment agreements and respondent’s requirement for employees to reapply for existing jobs with same entity that was already employer. Respondent required applicant to provide letter of resignation when applicant did not accept new role. Respondent breached good faith. Respondent’s breaches of good faith directly caused applicant’s employment to end. Dismissal unjustified. REMEDIES: No contributory conduct. Respondent to pay applicant $2,200 reimbursement of lost wages. $12,000 compensation appropriate.
